- First team meeting
- We mainly discussed more about the details behind the research paper we are reading in class, then gathered the information we had to draw up a quick outline for our presentation on Monday

Accomplishments:
- Began watching some of the videos in Andrew Ng’s machine learning Coursera series (1.5 hour)
- He talked mostly about the broad picture of machine learning and the difference between supervised and unsupervised learning as well as classifiers and regressors.
- Helped to contextualize a lot of the things we’ve been learning in CS165B as well as the BERT research paper.

Wednesday (1.5 hours) for assignment teaching yourself:
ERSP Teaching Topic
Tuesday (1.5 hours) for CS165B and Andrew Ng course:
- Continued discussion of perceptron algorithm
- Also discussed perceptron’s proof of convergence
Monday (2 hour) for deeper reading of research paper, and choose topic for presentation:
- Read some alternative sources to deepen my understanding of the bidirectional transformer architecture
